Every site we build comes with its own cookie banner, included. It connects on its own to the tools that measure visits and campaigns, and until the visitor chooses, none of them starts. Saying no is as easy as saying yes.
Tracking requests before consent.
Measured on our demo with nine tools active, on desktop and mobile, 24 October 2026.Any site that uses tools to measure visits or campaigns must ask for consent before switching them on. In Italy that's Article 122 of the Privacy Code, and the Garante, the Italian data protection authority, set out how to do it in its guidelines of 10 June 2021, still in force. Whoever runs the site is responsible, because they choose which tools to use.
- Consent first
Technical cookies don't need it. Everything else starts only after a yes.
para. 5 - Saying no is easy
Closing the banner counts as a no, and the way to do it must be as visible as the other buttons.
para. 7.1 - Scrolling isn't consent
Scrolling down the page is not consent.
para. 6.1 - No pre-ticked boxes
Individual choices all start on no.
para. 6.1, 7.1 - Six months
The choice is remembered. The banner only comes back if something changes, or after at least six months.
para. 6.2, 7.1
Not asking for consent properly can lead to a fine, decided case by case. In Italy, for banners, the Garante has so far issued warnings and ordered fixes. Elsewhere, fines have already landed.
- €20m
The maximum fine for breaking the consent rules, or 4% of worldwide turnover if higher.
GDPR, Article 83(5). Italian Privacy Code, Article 166. - €325m
The fine France's CNIL imposed on Google over cookie rules. Shein was fined €150m.
CNIL, announcement of 3 September 2025. - 2
Italian cookie banners the Garante warned and ordered to be fixed, in 2024 and 2025.
Garante, decisions no. 702 of 14 November 2024 and no. 391 of 10 July 2025.
The banner knows which tools are on the site, from Google Analytics to the Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn pixels. It keeps them off until the visitor chooses, and after a yes it switches on only the ones in the accepted category. With Google it uses Consent Mode v2, which Google has required since 2024 from anyone advertising in Europe.

The cookie policy writes itself, for that site. It lists only the tools that are really there, who runs them and what they're for. If the site uses no measuring tools, the banner doesn't appear and the policy has a single line. No pointless scripts or banners.
